Due to weather conditions, schools are closed to students – including the limited number of students who’ve been in school buildings this week: children with diverse abilities and students whose parents or guardians are essential workers. This decision was made after careful consideration of all 
the circumstances.
Just a reminder that school will welcome students for ONE HOUR ONLY on the first day back – Tuesday, September 7th beginning at the 8:50AM bell. Students will return to their last year’s classes for the first week of school. Any new students are to meet at the office and will be assigned a class for the week. Students will then be placed in their new classes on the morning of Monday, September 13th.

Today we unveiled our “Project of Heart” legacy piece. Each child created a tile to remember and honour those impacted by the residential school system. #everychildmatters #projectofheart
To acknowledge and honour Indigenous Peoples in light of the recent discovery in Kamloops, we respectfully ask that you wear orange this week. The District continues to connect with Elders to seek guidance about how we may proceed as a community and mourn alongside one another.
