If you are a parent or guardian of a student at Confederation Park Elementary School, you are a member of the Parent  Advisory Council. General meetings are held the third Thursday of most months and are currently being held online. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend!

Gallery Confederation Park Presents ~ The Lion King

Confederation Park Elementary School is presenting THE LION KING on May 17, at 12:30pm & 7:00pm, in the M. J. Fox Theater, 7373 MacPherson Avenue. The students are so excited to present The Lion King to you, your family and friends. They have worked very hard. Purchase your tickets today on SchoolCash Online!

One ticket per person is required to gain entry. All tickets will be available for pickup at the school office up until May 16th or at the Will Call Window on performance day.

Will Call will be open @ 12:00pm / 6:30pm on May 17 @ Michael J Fox Theater. Please bring your receipt as proof of purchase to pick up your ticket.

Summer Session Elementary Registration – Tuesday April 11, 2023

Burnaby School District is excited to offer outstanding summer programming for Burnaby Schools students.  With more than 8000 students typically attending, we’ve worked hard to provide amazing learning opportunities for all.

 

Summer Session Elementary Registration begins Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 10am.

To register, you will need your child’s Personal Education Number (PEN) which can be found on the top left of your child’s report card.

Kindergarten 2023 Information

Kindergarten is offered at all 41 Burnaby Elementary Schools. Families with students entering Kindergarten next Fall must complete an online preliminary registration here – starting February 1, 2023 in advance of the 2023.2024 school year. Schools will not be accepting in-person registrations at this time.

The following documents will be required to register:

    1. Proof of birth date for the student (birth certificate or passport)
    2. Proof of guardianship (parents’ or guardians’ as shown on birth certificate or other appropriate legal documentation such as landed immigrant paper or guardianship order).
    3. Proof of citizenship for both the parent and the student (Canadian birth certificate, citizenship card, passport, landed immigrant document, notice of decision, permanent resident card)
    4. Proof of residency. The parent or guardian and student must be ordinarily resident in British Columbia. Documentation must include two items, at least one being from Category A.
  • Category A: proof of ownership of dwelling or long-term lease or rental of dwelling; legal documents indicating BC residence; parent or guardian government issued tax statement
  • Category B: BC hydro bill, BC cable bill, Provincial driver’s license, provincial registration of automobile, Canadian bank accounts or credit cards.

There are many unique learning opportunities in Burnaby Schools, including elementary Programs of Choice such as French Immersion. Learn more about all of the options, including for students in high school.
