Image Orange Shirt Day – “Every Child Matters”
Each year, September 30 marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This day honours the children who never returned home and Survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities. We will be acknowledging this day through art and conversations culminating on Friday, September 27. Friday the 27th is also Orange Shirt Day and we encourage staff and students to wear Orange on this day.
We invite families to join us at a community gathering commemorating Orange Shirt Day at 1:30 pm in the school gym at 1:15 followed by and early dismissal at 2:05 pm.

CELEBRATE CONFED’S NEWEST COLLABORATIVE MURAL PROJECT!
Framed prints available for $10 each.
Commemorate the occasion of students working together on the latest school mural by purchasing a souvenir print.
Each division’s portion of the mural is available as a print.
Purchase the one by your child’s division to display proudly at home, or buy several different prints to create a dramatic wall arrangement.
Note: The frame is 5×7, with a 4×6 print of one of the mural panels.

Photo Day for classes, clubs & teams
Derek Stevens, our photographer, is coming to the school Wednesday, May 18th to take photos of our amazing students! These will include class, clubs and team photos. We will also do the school wide panorama photo if weather permits.
